About ian little, owner of bright spaces photography

London is my birthplace and where I grew up. After attaining a degree in Economics, I worked in various marketing departments in the city.  Next I moved to Cape Town, South Africa where I marketed for recreational clothing companies like CAPESTORM and Hi-Tec, the makers of hiking boots and outdoor attire.

I also joined the local running community in Cape Town, and have since run 98 marathons and ultra marathons and competed in three Ironman Triathlons, all over the world.

My travel along the way was recorded by my photography. Taking solid shots with the right composition and light balance has always lit me up.

After ten years in Cape Town, I was offered a position in the Hi-Tec Portland office, so I transferred here and became a US citizen. Hi-Tec moved the office to New York, so after doing marketing consultancy work I became the Executive Director at the local Soccer Shots franchise, and led the management team, coaches and support staff.

After years of marketing others’ businesses, I finally decided to start my own, by combining my love of photography, light and architecture.

I hope to meet you and have the opportunity to show off your properties as bright welcoming spaces.
